OK, this is going to be quick, in fact, you will probably find out a lot more on Trish's blog. I got back Monday and had to catch up on washing and housework that Tim tried to do (NOT!) and Now I have today (over) and tomorrow to cook and pack and get the camper trailer ready to go eastering. YEA!!!

This last weekend was our 2nd annual girls weekend in Salt Lake. It was so much fun and so rejuvenating. We ate tons of wonderful food, did lots of shopping, a movie, hot tubing, and stayed up until 2:00 A.m. talking, talking, and more talking. I even got into trouble when I went into an "employee only" room to steal us two plastic spoons so we could eat our sherbet ice cream and seven-up. Over all, it was a success, except we planned on going to Lagoon but it was too cold but we easily filled up the time. Most of the shopping and talking was all about our kids but it was just nice to have the time and not be rushed or be on a time schedule.

I came back home to a flooded basement, broken water lines on the camper trailer, and a very clingy baby, but it's all good. I look forward to next time.

OK, so I have heard about this couponing stuff and I even went to a class on how to do it and I went away from it thinking that it took to much effort and organization that didn't fit into my time schedule. And the no name brand stuff at wal-mart is the same as the deals that you're getting with all the coupons most of the time. Well my neighbor found the coupons for me, told me about the deals, and even went to the store with me to show me how to do it, and, Holy Cow!! Look what I got:

52 boxes of cereal between 15 and 20 oz.

3 16 oz. bags choc chips (the only thing I wont buy great value because they are nasty)

2 doz. eggs.

3 gallons milk.

grapes

3 double size boxes of pop tarts.

For one price of $65.00. Normal cost: $217.99 at Albertsons.

Now I did compare the price with wal-mart prices and it still would have been $125-160.

Thats a deal even I cannot pass up. In fact I am going back today to get more cereal because it is only 67 cents a box. And that is what I was working on for food storage anyways. Don't know if this is nation wide but the sale is going on until April 7th, so it would be worth looking into.

Sierra and I had a wonderful opportunity to go down to temple square with our young women group and spend the day and then go to the General Young Women Meeting that they had. It was tons of fun. We do a six-week super challenge for our Young Women every year and this year we are focusing on personal progress, so they had to complete three value experiences and a 10 hour project in order to go with us. I am proud of Sierra and all the others for the great job that they did.
And we were so close to the prophet!! He and the YW general presidency gave wonderful talks. I am so greatful that I had the opportunity to have this experience with Sierra, since she barely came into the program the week we started the challenge.

Tomorrow is Grace's and Tim's Birthdays and the only thing I have put on my blog is what we did for Tim's birthday. I will tell more about him later. Right now, I will introduce Grace.
Grace was born on March 27, 2007. She had a rough beginning as she aspirated some fluid while being born. Several hours after her birth she quit breathing and luckily a nurse was with her and started working on her right away. In all she was in the hospital for a week, she had an IV in both sides of her head, she had seven different sticker monitors on her chest and belly, (they thought something was wrong with her heart but that turned OK), she had a feeding tube, and she had to be on oxygen.
The worst thing I have ever had to do was go home from the hospital without my baby. I cannot even imagine how a mother could deal with the death of her newborn baby. At least I knew I could go back and see her the next day. I still had to have sleeping pills to get through the night.

She had to learn to fight from the beginning, and she is definitely a fighter. She is giving Isaac a run for his money. She also had to deal with Acid Reflux and man, was she an ornery baby. But, she had good reasons so we still love her.

Here is a pic of Grace with her Great-Grandmas. She also has another one in Arkansas. Grandma Chynoweth died from cancer in December 2007. The other one just shows her pretty eyes.

This is Grace's favorite thing to do besides swinging in a swing. She absolutely loves 4-wheeling. She cannot wait to go down below for Easter. She has never been Eastering before but she knows that it is associated with the 4-wheeler so she is excited.
We are so thankful that we have Grace. She makes the family complete and we love her.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRACE!! And Tim!!!

I guess I ought to put a picture of the snowmobile so you can see what we did.
Oh, and I wont be able to use the computer for a week as Tim is going to Los Alamos on a business trip and thinks he needs the computer more than the rest of the family. So I wont be blogging or e-mailing for a week. Audios. (did I mention we are learning Spanish)

Finally!!!! I Got Tim a Birthday present he didn't throw away, put on the back of the shelf, or just ignore until I finally took it back to the store and got my money back. This was so much fun! We saw a lot of elk and a moose and lots of pretty country.

CAYLEY, next year you are getting Shiloh up here and we are doing it together. And anyone else for that matter, please come, (although we can only do it once, because the snowmobills are a little pricey to rent).

Here is a snowman that Isaac, Grace and I made.
We really like the snow for 2 or 3 months out of the year but I we are all about to go crazy when it is still 3 and 4 feet high by March 1st!!!!! We need to move south on the parallels. Any Ideas?
